Hi everyone, Last night, I was doing some hardware hacking and accidentally shorted a USB device that was connected to my laptop. The laptop survived, but I think it was too much for the SATA SSD controller, which refuses to read anything but 0s and shows only a ~1 GB volume. I've tried all the software recovery techniques I know of, and I'm pretty sure that recovering the data from this SSD will require desoldering the NAND chips and reading them directly. Do you have any recommendations for people who can do that? Thanks, Ben
