Gosh, that should totally be sufficient.

Personally, I've found Kdenlive to "work like a dream." Expecially the
newer versions are quite convenient and sophisticated.

If you are able to go to the downtown Boston area during a weekday, we
could plan for a time that I could show you my experience with the program.
