When I plug in one of my external backup disks my desktop software, Mate (gnome fork from before they ruined the UI), helpful asks me for the passphrase, which I like, I don't need to type fussy commands. This dialog has three options: - Forget password immediately - Remember password until you logout - Remember forever The until logout is the default choice. Anyone know how to change the default? Why? I don't want "helpful" software here and there storing sensitive passphrases for me at all, I want it forgotten immediately. I consider that second option dangerous and the third option very dangerous. I know, I know, I am always declining a little convenience in exchange for a lot less security? Thanks, -kb
