It's not a bad practice to reboot whenever you change a system, whether this is configuration changes or OS updates, in order to test those changes. If you don't test then you don't know if it actually works. If you have many such untested changes and you are forced to reboot and it fails, then you are potentially facing a lot of changes to sift through to identify the faulty change. -- \m/ (--) \m/
