I installed CachyOS (an Arch derivative) this evening to see what if anything is different. "Everything". GPU switching just works. So it seems the problems I'm having are due to Tumbleweed kernels or libraries not fully supporting the hardware. There is a collection of ASUS-specific patches which I guess aren't in the Tumbleweed kernels yet. -- \m/ (--) \m/
