As I get old there is much that is from so long ago it becomes hard to remember, but I find I can perceive more. I go to a movie and I see more. I listen to music and I hear more. I read the news and I horrify more. I have not become the history fanatic that my demographic is at risk for, but the history I do consume means so much more. All of it is because I have more backstory to draw upon. Even if the specifics are fuzzy.
