Yes.

You can run vanilla Debian on Pi hardware, so I took you at your
word until you posted evidence to the contrary. We now know that you
were mistaken and that you are running a Debian derivative. The delays
you have been experiencing are entirely on your distro's maintainers
and not at all on the Debian maintainers.
