[Discuss] WIFI access point/router dd-wrt or other open source system

Another +1 for OpenWrt.

I have ~4 Google WiFi (Gale) APs running OpenWrt scattered around the
house. They're USB-C powered and support hubs for extra I/O, they have 4GB
of storage, and they're cheap on eBay/thrift stores (~$5-15). Would
definitely recommend.

The only difficulty is it's a little annoying to flash them with OpenWrt
the first time. Requires taking them apart.
