if you had only one book...

I was wondering what would be the most
useful book (currently in print)
to supplement the varoous FAQs
and HOW-TOs on Linux (you can
expand the list to two or three,
if necessary).

I am also curious why nobody seems to have
forwarded the linux-sig meetings list
to the _Linux Journal_.  I am sure that there
is an excellent reason, but I am curious
as to what the reason is.
