Transmeta's tracks are all over the net.  They surf a lot, the domain
transmeta.com shows up in web sites (assuming they own their own name).
They have fresh venture money, from spring 1996 timeframe.  They are in the
Semiconductor business, probably designing or building chips as they are
buying silicon compilers.

15 minutes with altavista and webcrawler can be quite productive.

Look for a custom processor designed to boot linux as soon as you plug it
into the 1.5 volt powercell wired into the heel of your Nike?
