I think that GUIs are a good thing to have on servers. They can present 
information graphically, such as network state. But, having full command line 
control is just as important. The BLU server is a good example. JABR and I (to a 
lesser extent) do all of our administration remotely. GUIs also consume a 
significant amount of system resource.
