Modem that doesn't work on Linux

There are three letters, which, when found on the outside of any hardware
box, should be avoided at all costs:

w, i, n

(It means it will only work with windows o/s) If you are able to get it
working under another O/S, you should brag about it!

As hardware becomes more incompatible, the deathgrip from Redmond grows
stronger - surely someone will work on defeating it, but it may be a
while...

Do you still have your receipt? Go get a Zoom or a USR, or have they sold
out too? Best of luck!

   Hi,

I have a sound card/modem which is called a "Sound 4 WinModem," but I think
it actually has a Aztec Galaxy chipset for the sound card and one of the US
   Robotics chipsets for the modem.

I've been trying to get it to work on Linux, but do not yet have a success
story to tell. It doesn't seem to work with Windows NT either. As far as
I know, it only works with Windows 95.

Is there any support for WinModems on Linux?

   Thanks in advance.
