O'Reilly of course has a couple of good books on network security and
data encryption, but it's a couple of years since I have done any
reading in that area. (You know that O'Reilly updates their books
frequently, so they wouldn't be obsoleted.) They've got the essential
volume on PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) and other nonproprietary technologies.
