SCSI install problem

Well, look in /lib/modules/<kernel-version>. There should be (hopefully)
a module for your SCSI card, and a module for SCSI tape (I think it's
st.o, but could be wrong...)
Many distros try to get everything to work out of the box, so this might
be something that you can do.
I'd suggest:
1) try putting the hardware in and seeing what happens. Probably nothing,
unless it somehow auto-detects your SCSI card and loads the module, which
isn't likely.
2) After the hardware is in, try loading the appropriate driver (I read
that it's the Future Domain driver).
3) Try tarring something to /dev/st<x>, using the appropriate SCSI ID.
If this doesn't work, then you'll probably have to recompile.
