Star Office vs ApplixWare

I have both StarOffice and ApplixWare installed on my Linux Laptop.
I tend to prefer Applix because it is slightly more X-friendly, and
a little more stable. The short comparrison is that SO has more
features, but AW is more stable. My particular needs are that
I need to be able to read _and write_ M$Office-compatible documents
(Word and Powerpoint), and unfortunately neither SO nor AW does a
good job of this. So, I currently run NT4 in VMWare, and run Office
within that environment.
