RedHat 6.1 next week (most likely)

I'm kind of curious what others experiences have been when upgrading
RedHat Linux. For example, I have a machine running 5.1 and have a lot of
non-RPM software, such as the SNNS neural network. Also, I have
everything set up for dial out networking and routing of internet traffic
to other boxes in my house. If I upgrade this machine, how much of this
stuff has to be re-configured?
Cheers,
Jim
