I stopped using many of their services also, I found them to be
unreliable. However the bandwith is always up, and they have left my
services alone. I just do my best not to hog the pipe.

I assume you are referring to the 'pipe' as the link between your house
and the backbone? AT&T/M1 limits your upstream speed to 300K so there's
no chance of you hogging all the bandwidth in your segment by hosting
public services.
