How do you feel about rolling kernels?  You may need to enable
CONFIG_JOLIET.  Adaptec CD Creator will do iso9660.  Adaptec Direct CD
does Joliet.  I'm pretty sure about that.  I think.

(It's not Adaptec anymore is it?  Roxio, is that right?  Anyway..)

For cross platform compatibility, iso9660 is the way to go.

Stepping back, you may need to make sure your kernel supports iso9660.
Do a 'cat /proc/filesystems' to be sure.

How was the CD made?
