I would probably recommend that you back out the patch set, then possibly
reinstall only some specific patches. I don't have much Sun experience, but
patches are always a double edged sword. One example in my past is with the
IBM sort utility on their mainframes. I installed a recommended IBM patch
to fix a problem where we were not able to sort our system accounting
records. However, that patch caused another problem where the sort got
into a loop during payroll processing. (I bought Syncsort :-).
