I think your definition of electrical jobs and mine must vary greatly. 
My reference was to taking the upper level of your average two-story
home, doing a similar job in each of 4 or 5 bedrooms/offices that would
be adequate for many families in this day, would cost you a hundred
bucks and an afternoon's free time, and wouldn't be worth squat.  Hence,
"depending on the job."
