Future Linux machines?

I don't think a tax writeoff is possible. Since Mike is selling this for a 
private school, I'm assuming that the private school is already a 501(c)3 
corporation.

WRT: CPU Speed. The CPU speed as well as memory is really needed for things 
like streaming video, movies (eg. play your DVD movies on your computer), 
and other similar things.

Back when the BCs was doing the computer trade in stuff, we had a program 
to give these to schools, faculty and students. Even then, 486 systems were 
underpowered for their needs. Schools do not need the latest state of the 
art systems, but they do need systems that can run Windows 9x. Also 
remember that you can go to a store and buy  very hefty system for $500.
