Help with Linux and DHCP

This is what is what prompted me to ask about the DHCP question in the
first place :)
I have checked, and I am definately assigning myself a DHCP address (also
per Slackware netconfig's script and my own checking.
Anyone have other ideas? My mailbox awaits your ideas.
