Dropping of network connection on Linux system

The Linksys interface is web based, and has the capabilitiy to be
accessed remotely if one wants to enable it. I have no problems with the
performance of the router. (Linksys BEFSR41 4 port).
WRT: We always meet the 3rd Wednesday. We did not consider
Thanksgiving. Last month the meeting was on a Jewish holiday. (Actually
the holiday ended at sundown). We have learned that consistency works
best.
