- Expert level knowledge of Veritas NetBackup v3.4 (v4.5 Beta
experience a
+), also experience with SSO (Shared Server Option w/NetBackup) and
Vault
- Solaris expertise, versions 2.6 and above
- Scripting experience - shell and/or perl
- Networking knowledge (especially experience with Gigabit Ethernet)
- Tape library experience (especially centered around large
StorageTek and
ADIC libraries)
Nice to Have:
- NDMP
- Windows
- Experience with library sharing software - ACSLS for StorageTek,
SDLC for
ADIC
- Fibre-Channel experience
- Any knowledge of other backup software (i.e. Legato, ARCserve,
BackupExec,
...)
