No, it's strictly firewire, for editing DV streams. I mentioned converting
to MPEG afterwards, but Kino doesn't do that either; I use mjpegtools
to handle that afterwards. Basically, it handles cuts-only editing;
plugins to handle special effects like transitions and titling were
planned, but last time I checked they weren't supported yet. That was
a while ago, though.
