Normally, when creating a new user, skeleton files are placed un the
user directories. You may find the bash rc skeleton in
/etc/skel/.bashrc
Just copy it to your home directory.
The RC file is ~/.bashrc.
You should also have a .profile. In bash, .profile is generally executed
only once for a login shell where .bashrc is read for each subshell.
This is analogous to the CSH .login and .cshrc files.
