SSH and changing DNS servers

To let everyone know the resolution of this,  changing
the DNS hosts listed on the server resolved the DNS
problems and would have solved all our problem except
for the fact that we rebooted the computer to activate
the change and when it rebooted the ssh process didn't
come back.  

A visit to the site allowed us to restart the ssh
service and when we rebooted the machine again,  ssh
did automatically start up.  The only pain was a site
visit which we shouldn't have needed to make.
