Built-in NTFS support on Bootable CDs.

Jerry,

I'm not sure about Knoppix, but "Recovery is Possible" (you can find the 
url for it on freshmeat) has NTFS read/write support which you can use to 
have chntpw reset the password.  I'm pretty sure it also has network 
support.
