what to do about Windows email worms

It took me a couple of years to move (thanks to Evolution it was
possible). And last night I was glad I did. The other happy campers
are the organizations that strip executable attachments. Maybe this
will convince PHBs who like stupid Flash attachments that not allowing
executable attachments is an idea whose time has come. (or maybe
not...)

This virus is a very slick piece of social engineering. I got it last
night, knew it was a virus, and still wanted to open it. It was also a
potent zero-day virus. Even the best AV protection was caught
flat-footed. I'm not sure when they caught up but this worked its way
around rather quickly and fooled many of those who depend on their AV
protection to keep them clean.
