Some DNS issues

After installing the new server at BLU, we noticed that reverse DNS is
indicating something wierd. If I do it on one of the BLU servers:
asgard.blu.org [2] dig -x 216.235.254.232
<snip>
;; ANSWER SECTION:
232.254.235.216.in-addr.arpa. 3600 IN PTR olduvai.blu.org.
<snip>
But if I do it from anywhere else:
gaf at toulouse:~> dig -x 216.235.254.232
<snip>
;; ANSWER SECTION:
232.254.235.216.in-addr.arpa. 3600 IN PTR vhcma.blu.org.
vhcma.blu.org is a CNAME for asgard (216.235.254.231) and one of the
accounts we host as vhcma.org). Out PTR records look correct:
230 IN PTR tarnhelm.blu.org.
231 IN PTR asgard.blu.org.
232 IN PTR olduvai.blu.org.
----------------------------------------
I'm looking for some ideas. Both JABR and I have looked at it. I've tried a
few things.
One other issue is that one of our secondary name servers
(msb.significant.com) appears to be down.
