This I knew.
I was hoping to get one of the GUIs working because I don't know the secret
handshake to make the DVD. growisofs was able to take my dd of the DVD and
make an otherwise-identical DVD, but I don't know if the "make me bootable"
is part of the copying process or part of the burning process.
Any advice there?

Clearly this program doesn't know much about my burner. There's all sorts
of unknown features, and it says it can't do burn-proof, which it can. No
mention of dual layer though.
Any suggestions?
Should I just get a different burner? I would hate to do that, since this
one was like $80. And how do I know which ones will work with these tools?
