Well, I know SUSE and have been using it for years, but I didn't have a
new(ish) version, and didn't want to install the old version, which will
soon be two releases behind.
Besides, there's value in knowing new things, too. I just needed to get
some critical issues solved. I'm sure FC6 will be fine, and whenm SUSE
10.2 comes out, I'll decide what to do.
I've also been frustrated with the fact that SUSE packages for some
things I like to keep current on aren't available until much later than
ones for Feddora. Firefox 2.0 is a good example. And I want to try
installing MythTV again, which seems to be much more popular under
Fedora than SUSE.

I finally got on the #fedora IRC channel, and they essentially said "No,
you're not crazy, the firewall tool that comes with FC6 does not do
that. Download "firestarter". I did, and I was up and running with NAT
in minutes. I may switch to a more complicated firewall scripter at
some point, but I have what I need for now.
And then I figured out that switchdesk needs to be installed afterwards.
It wasn't available at install time, which is a little silly if you
ask me. Unless I just missed it.
