another learning curve question

Thanks for the help with pkgadd! Now my next question is how do I do the 
linux
equivalent of lspic? For some reason my Solaris 10 install on my VMWare 
at work
failed to configure the ethernet card... :( It claims it can't plumb 
pcn0 when the system
boots.
