i have personally used drivesavers.com and can recommend them. in  
1999 the office of one of my clients burned down (the building was  
set on fire by someone targeting another company). we had a desktop  
and a melted laptop, both classic mac os machines. drive savers fully  
recovered the data from both drives. though as you might expect,  
expect to pay for this service. drop them an email and they will send  
you a quote.
