Future of open-source (Re: Windows virtualization and Linux)

I'd love to see a discussion covering TCO at one of our future meetings. =

As you are pointing out there are many cases where Linux may not have a=20
better TCO than Windows. I'm thinking maybe a short 10-15 presentation=20
from 2, 3 or 4 credible people followed by a discussion deferring the=20
politics to CBC. I'm looking for things like actual numbers and=20
experiences. We have a number of members who work for fairly large=20
companies who can get good numbers.
