I would just try it.  Companies are usually conservative in their "supported 
platforms", since everything they list there increases their overhead and 
support costs.

The biggest difference will be that the 'bleeding edge' stuff in Fedora 
won't have as much testing a verification behind it.  For example, it's far 
more likely that a kernel with a new 'feature' that causes some issues for 
existing apps will make it out to fedora than with RHEL/CentOS.

But yeah, I'd just try it and see how bad it blows up.
