Moving from Centos to Fedora 9

I've always been an advocate of clean installs although I've done=20
upgrades. A couple of years ago I was burnt by an admin upgrading RHEL=20
on an HP Integrity (IA64). The system was in Toronto. I thought the guy=20
screwed up, but later I did an upgrade install on a similar system in=20
our lab. We applied all the relevant patches, then upgraded, and we had=20
the same problem. While I was in the compiler group at Digital, one of=20
the things I was supposed to test was upgrade installs. But, we always=20
recommended clean installs.=20
