Kernel failure, not panic

A couple of times I've seen a dialog box that states that I've had a=20
"kernel failure". This is not a panic, and things appear to work. It did =
appear that the "kernel failure" knocked by system offline but=20
everything else appeared to work.
On the down side, the dialog box gives very little information, and I=20
haven't been able to track it down. The only thing I see in messages is=20
a number of cases:
Sep 24 21:12:50 gaf kernel: NVRM: pmd not present for addr=20
0xffff810019fe9000
I am currently running Fedora 9 with 2.6.26.3-29.fc9.x86_64 kernel.=20
While I did not see the NVRM message with the CentOS system I had=20
previously installed, I did see the "kernel failure" popup, so it may be =
related to the nvidia driver. Additionally, there is some other=20
information I was able to find that relates the above message to the the =
nvidia driver.
