Ethernet over unused twisted pair?

I personally think that the wireless solution might be the best. You can =

get a pretty good bandwidth from some of the wireless units. The Linksys =

WRT54GL is on the low end of the spectrum, but some of their higher end=20
models, like the SRX will give you both a higher bandwidth and more=20
reliable connection. If you use encryption and authenticate by MAC=20
address, you should be reasonably secure. I personally prefer Linksys=20
and Netgear products since I have had relatively few problems with them.

Essentially the BNC (coax thin wire ethernet) was 2 wire.  I'm not sure=20
you will be able to get much more than 10Mbps over za twisted pair=20
solution where wireless can give you speeds well above that.
