I have a Samsung GSM phone and want to transfer pictures between it
and my PC. I purchased a USB data cable for it, and
/var/log/messages shows the phone is connected to the system, but due
to lack of any drivers, the OS doesn't know what to do with the phone.
http://www.futuredial.com has a product called Snapmedia that will do
this at least for Windows, and http://www.datapilot.com has its
product, but I prefer to save some money and stick with Linux.
What are my options?
I know bitpim exists, but it says it only supports cdma phones, and
its Linux product is rpm-based.
Thanks.
Scott
