Much of what they advertise seems to center around using their server
and retrieving their client.

It's a Tomcat server, I think, and hosts on a different port.

At this point I use Mozilla Sunbird 1.0b1.  The b2 series (Sunbird and
Lightning plugin for Thunderbird) are broken, though a potential fix has
been identified.
