So, back to the topic of restoring windows on different hardware...   ;-)

I keep telling people, Acronis TrueImage, with Plus Pack.  Amongst other things, the Plus Pack allows restoring onto different hardware.  I don't know for a fact, but I think it does something like sysprep.
