I wrote a howto just a few days ago, for those who are stuck with an ancient XP box just to run Quicken. Moneydance has a familiar UI that does 98% of what Quicken does, and allows you to switch more completely to Linux.

You also get mobile and online stuff that an old Quicken can't. My howto should help you make short work of converting 10, 20 or even 45 years of old records.
