[Discuss] Comcast goes all encrypted video in Cambridge

My latest bill from Comcast says that they are going to start
encrypting the "Limited Basic" channels on September 24th.   More info

They are talking about free converters/Cable Cards for a year or two
depending on my level of service.   After that it looks, I will have
to rent Comcast owned equipment (adapter, set top box, or Cable Card)
for every TV/tuner in my house.   Whether they call it equipment
rental or additional outlet fees, Comcast will now get extra money for
every TV/tuner even if I only use it to watch their re-transmission of
over the air channels or (apparently) local public access channels.

Any advice on cord cutting or good HDTV antennas?
