Thanks. I pulled out the RAID card, booted on Ubuntu 13.04 Live CD, and
nothing changed. There is nothing else in the box except the motherboard,
display card, and a WD Red hard drive, so I'm not sure what else I can
remove.

The vendor (endpcnoise.com) did all the setup. I'll ask what they did.

It's 32-bit Ubuntu.

Will try (though I am no BIOS expert). Any suggested settings to tweak?
