[Discuss] Running Linux from USB

I recently came across an Indiegogo campaign aimed at giving people in
third-world nations their own personal "computers" on USB drives.
They would have their own O/S, apps, data on the USB drive and could
plug it in at public terminals.

The project is called Keepod Unite:
