Really? The best & brightest Linux minds in the world split over this issue?

I've got a 2-word thought on this: grow up. Most of the world has already moved on from the systemd debate 2 years ago; aren't there a few tad-more-important things to worry about than preserving a few dozen crufty startup scripts dating back to the 1990s?

I suppose this mirrors the depressing 49/51% divide our world is facing when we contemplate solutions to our most pressing problems. Sigh.
