[Discuss] printer problem

running fc35 on lenevo thinkpad T460.
suddenly i can't access the printer;

moylan Downloads[637] lpstat -d -p
system default destination: Photosmart-D110
printer Photosmart-D110 is idle.  enabled since Sat 19 Mar 2022 03:58:38 PM EDT
moylan Downloads[639] lp -dPhotosmard-D110 -P2,3 20220318_rmv_3213.pdf
lp: Error - The printer or class does not exist.

somehow this seems odd.  what have i missed?
