[Discuss] Generic USB devices

For fun, I did some more google searching and found this article about
how to identify different identical USB cameras and give them consistent
/dev/video* names which are apparently? based on the physical port to which
they are attached.   I personally don't understand the black magic involved, but
it might help. :-)
