It's one of the first features I show Windows users in a demo of the

I think it's an Xorg thing, not an application thing?

Works reliably for me in Firefox, even when a single click in the URL 
bar highlights the entire URL, it does not invoke the X11 "copy" until I 
double-click to select.

Maybe we're experiencing different behaviours?

I wonder if Wayland is interfering with this critical feature? Does it 
(can it?) support this? I sure hope so.
